From June 5–12, you’ll find We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip sailing into the World Ocean Day Steam sale, alongside amazing titles like Among Us, Phasmophobia, Core Keeper, House Flipper, and more. For the event, we’re offering a 30% discount on our game — and here’s the best part: 25% of our profits during the sale will be donated to Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC).
Last year, thanks to the incredible support from the gaming community, over £107,000 was raised! These funds fully supported a project in Sri Lanka that works with tuna fishers to reduce the accidental entanglement of whales and dolphins — the biggest threat they face globally.
Thanks to this effort:
- New net deployment methods are being tested to protect whales, dolphins, sharks, rays, and turtles
- Local fishers are supported in making ocean-friendly changes
- A healthier ocean ecosystem is being built — with whales and dolphins playing a key role in keeping it balanced
